Richard J. Wadas, FACEP

Richard J. Wadas, MD, FACEP, is the President and Chief Medical Officer of ERMI. Dr. Wadas attended UMDNJ – Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and completed his emergency medicine residency at the University Health Center of Pittsburgh. He is board-certified in emergency medicine, sub-specialty board-certified in emergency medical services, and holds an academic appointment at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He is also the Associate Director of the Advanced Airway Management course at the Peter Winter Institute for Education, Research, and Simulation. Dr. Wadas joined ERMI in 2001 as a staff physician at UPMC Passavant and also served as Director of Emergency Medicine at Jameson Hospital. He has most recently held the position of Chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine at UPMC Shadyside. In addition to this, he maintains his position as the Associate Regional Medical Director for the Emergency Medical Services Institute.

Jason Biggs, MD, FACEP

Jason Biggs, MD, FACEP, is the Chair at St. Clair Hospital. Dr. Biggs received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA, and completed a residency in emergency medicine at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Biggs is board-certified in emergency medicine and has been practicing since 2009.

Holli Martinez, DO

Holli Martinez, DO, is the Director of the Emergency Department at UPMC Horizon Hospital. Dr. Martinez received her medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency at St. Josephs Health Center in Warren, Ohio. She has been in practice since 2015.

Surabhi Gaur, MD, MBA

Surabhi Gaur, MD, MBA, is the Medical Director for Emergency Services at Uniontown Hospital. Dr. Gaur is a native of the South Hills of Pittsburgh. She has a bachelor's degree in Economics from Dartmouth College and earned her medical degree & master’s in business administration from Temple University. She completed an emergency medicine residency at Cooper Hospital in Camden, New Jersey and is board certified in Emergency Medicine.

Rani Kumar, MD, FACEP

Rani Kumar, MD, FACEP, is the Director of the Emergency Department at UPMC McKeesport. Dr. Kumar received her medical degree from Glancy Medical College in Amristar, India. She completed her pediatrics residency at Richland Memorial Hospital in Columbia, SC. Dr. Kumar is board-certified in emergency medicine, pediatrics and pediatric emergency medicine. She has worked as an emergency department physician since 1981.

Jonathan Landis, MD

Jonathan Landis, MD, is the Chairman of Emergency Medicine at UPMC Passavant and is responsible for the McCandless Campus. Dr. Landis received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch and completed an emergency medicine residency at Allegheny General Hospital. Dr. Landis is board-certified in emergency medicine and has been practicing since 1994.

Carl K. Lange, MD

Carl K. Lange, MD, is the Director of the Emergency Department at Ohio Valley General Hospital.  Dr. Lange received his medical degree at St. George’s University and completed a general surgery residency at McKeesport Hospital and a fellowship in surgical oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Lange has contributed to surgical and critical care literature and is certified by the American Board of Surgery. He has been practicing emergency medicine for more than 10 years.

Dr. Benjamin Martin, MD

Dr. Benjamin Martin, MD, is the Director of the Emergency Department at St. Margaret Hospital. Dr. Martin received his medical degree from Mayo Medical School, located in Rochester, Minnesota. He completed a residency in family medicine from UPMC St. Margaret. Dr. Martin has worked for Emergency Resource Management Inc. since 2003. In 2014, he traveled to Sudan where he served as the Regional Medical Officer for the US Embassy Khartoum for 2 years.

Dr. Sundeep Ekbote, MD, FAAEM

Dr. Sundeep Ekbote, MD, FAAEM, is the Director of the Emergency Department at Monongahela Valley Hospital. Dr. Ekbote received his medical degree from the University of Michigan. He completed a residency in emergency medicine from the Medical College of Pennsylvania (Drexel University).

Marc Eubanks, MD, MPM, FACEP

Marc Eubanks, MD, MPM, FACEP, is Chief of Emergency Medical Services UPMC East. Dr. Eubanks received his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine with residency training and subsequent EMS fellowship at Allegheny General Hospital. Dr. Eubanks completed a Master’s in Public Management with a focus in Health Systems Management from Carnegie Mellon in 2013 and has been in practice since 1999.

Ray Viducich, MD

Ray Viducich, MD, FACEP, is the Vice Chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine at UPMC Passavant and is responsible for the Cranberry Campus. Dr. Viducich received his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He completed an emergency medicine residency at Akron City Hospital. Dr. Viducich is board-certified in emergency medicine and has been working at UPMC Passavant since 2008.

Douglas Brash, DO

Douglas Brash, DO, is the Director of the Emergency Department at Jameson Hospital. Dr. Brash earned his medical degree from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. In 1998, he completed his residency at Millcreek Hospital in Erie, PA.

Matthew Glenn, DO

Matthew Glenn, DO, is the Director of the Emergency Department at Grove City Medical Center. Dr. Glenn earned his medical degree from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency from St. Francis Medical Center. Dr. Glenn is Board Certified in Family Medicine. He has been the medical director at Grove City Medical Center since 2000 and also serves as the Trauma Program Medical Director for the Level IV trauma center.
